We're here!! I am sweaty! We are in the 60's. Not sure where hubby is sleeping.... This bed ain't big enough for him and me!

Today got started alittle bad when I realized my car keys were missing. as we were walking out the door with the back up keys, we found them under We have a great location by the luggage. So we headed out only to turn back 10 minutes later when kelvin realized he forgot his earplugs. He would not get any sleep without them. ( I have been told that I snore).

Our check in was quick and painless. I had used the online check in yesterday at home so we were on our way to our room in less than 5 minutes.

We have a great location in the 60's section by the Hippy Dippy Pool. Sadly our building is under renovation. I am praying tomorrow we are not fighting for the elevators again with the construction crew.

Wasting no time in getting down to Everything POP, we filled our trays and checked out with our little key to the kingdom card. We had a fairly good "Dunch". So far so good, we all ate well and couldn't finish it all.

Kelvin took Stella down to check out the pool, Grace and I stayed behind to check out the beds. Not sure where Kelvin is sleeping tonight. This bed is going to take alittle getting used to. "Adventures in sleeping" is what we are calling it.

If you all didn't know, Pete and Walter are staying over at the Beach club this week and had invited us over for a Illuminations cruise. When We pulled thru the guard gate, I told the guard why we were there and she Said, " I see you are staying at POP, You have those cute little flowers on your buildings, We have Storm Along Bay".So what are you trying to say lady? I told her I was there to see how the other half lives.

The cruise was great. Walter spent his time telling me how wonderful there stay at Beach club is going, blah, blah, blah Walter...

Stella is still running around the room like she is hyped up on sugar.

I have pics to post. Hopefully I will get them up tomorrow.

Tomorrow we head to AK.

I hope you end up enjoying Pop as much as I have Theresa. I have stayed there the vast majority of the time when staying on property and have never had a bad experience.

FYI...Earl of Sandwich makes a mean breakfast along with lunch and it's not too far from Pop.

Good Lord!! What a night!! I am stiff, puffy and my back is killing me from clinging to the side of the bed so I wouldn't fall to the floor. For three hours I endured Stella repeating over and over " stop it, stop it, stop it." While Grace giggled and put her nasty feet on Stella. I realized although the girls share a room at home, this is the first time they have shared a bed. Kelvin who goes to bed to sleep, wants the tv off and all noise to cease had his own issues. With me sitting on my side of the tiny cot with the laptop, Stella near by with her DS and Grace watching tv, he did his fair share of fussing. Picture if you will, me perched on the side of the bed with laptop, Iphone, my tall insulated cup of iced Dr. Pepper and mini Oreo Cakesters. Dear hubby flipping back in forth trying to convey his unhappiness with his sliver of the bed. (I just know that Klaus is at home with his fat butt stretched out in the middle of my king size bed, lovin life).

Kelvin just came back to the room to report that people are up and moving!!! We are running late and He is hungry.

Guess I better crawl out to begin the day. Animal Kingdom awaits ,let the sweating begin...............

Laughing at the earplug thing! My dh said the same thing. He can either sleep with me and deal with my snoring (he does, too, and worse but that's another story...) up close or pick a kid to sleep with and have their legs and arms all over him all night long. He chose me - I feel special....

Have a great time! We arrive on the 25th - requested a building close to everything since we have a child with special needs. My other son was thrilled last year we were in the Pacman building and is hoping for that again.

hhuummmm, I bet Pete & Walter slept wonderfully. Those BC rooms are sssoooo comfortable, and that feather comforter.... I'll bet they are enjoying a wonderful b/fast in the Club lounge, *real* cups & dishes.....

Wow, what a first night T. I guess you are regretting not going moderate for those queen sized beds rather than the doubles? I forgot how tight it is on those beds at Pop. Have fun sweating it out at Animal Kingdom, hope you manage to have a good day!

Can't wait to hear all about it when this is over! I hope you have fun. That is funny about the bed, I don't think my husband and I have ever noticed a weird size issue with the beds, but we sleep in a queen at home.

Sorry you had a rough night--hope your day at AK is better! I looked for you all around the pool yesterday, but I guess you can't wear a green tutu in the pool.

We were at MK until 2:30 am last night (or this morning?), so we're relaxing at the resort today. Hope to see you at the meet this afternoon, but we have an early dinner at Boma so we may have to leave before it begins.
