Traveling w/15 yo. Which food court has more choices? Pool activity? Any area to request for "regular" room (don't want to pay anymore), We'll probably have a car since DH wants to visit relatives in Winter Park and he likes his freedom.
TIA

You will get a lot of pro/con answers for both resorts. Our favorite is POP. Even the farthest room is close enough for the pool and main building. We've stayed there many times. Stayed at Music only once. Would advise asking for a preferred room if you stay there or you may end up in the netherland part of the resort as we were. I think we had the farthest room in the farthest bldg, lol..we had a car but were far from any of the parking areas and a long way from main bldg and any of the pools.

I just got back from POP and although I heard lots of positive feedback on the boards on their food court, it just didn't measure up to me. The place was not well maintained while I was there. The drink machines were constantly empty, the food that I had heard good things about was not that good and they seemed to have trouble keeping things cleaned. And this was during a low season time. I would hate to think of how it would be during peak season.

I have to admit I would have to think long and hard about going back over Music or Movies in the future.

We loved POP. We were there in June and it was busy. We thought the pools were great and the food court had lots of options. We didn't have any of the problems the OP had with cleanliness, etc. I would definitely recommend POP

Take a look at the maps of both resorts to see the layouts. The most remote rooms at ASMusic are more remote than the most remote rooms at Pop.

I've been to Pop 7 times and never had any issues with the food court.

I've been to Music once and it too was fine. I was in a family suite so I knew I would be relatively close.

Stayed at Pop twice and absolutely loved it. Never had an issue w/ anything really. Love the food court and all the choices. We stayed in the 70s section both times which is one of the closest buildings to the main pool and main building. But did walk around the place and never felt like anything was sooo far away.
