POP or Moderate ??

Hi,

We have made reservations staying at POP for free dining September 11-17. I have never stayed at a value resort for longer than a night or two and usually go commando.

It will be just 2 adults, and we would like to come back the resort in the afternoon just to chill by one of the quiet pools. Are any of the pools quieter in the resort during the day or should we consider upgrading to a moderate for some peace and quiet??

We used the computer pool over by the 80s and 90s buildings. We went around 2ish in the afternoon and do not remember being overly bothered by the nosie level.

Pop. I just dont see the cost/benefit of the mods over Pop.

POP is very ... concrete, for lack of a better word. So if you are looking for a quiet ambience, POP really isn't the best. However, I really like POP for going commando. And I would say that POP will do even if you want to hang at the pool for 1/2 hour a day. But getting peace and quiet in such a concrete place isn't all that realistic. Sound just reverberates in that type of environment without a lot of greenery to absorb the sound

If you want peace and quiet, POP is not your place. We stayed a week, three full days and arrival day were at the resort. We never used the main pool due to the noise and crowds and we used the computer pool 8 times.

While the noise level wasn't high each time, it wasn't relaxing due to the colors of the buildings and the icons. It's visually very loud if that makes any sense.

I missed POFQ and GF for the relaxation element of the trip! Money-wise great, but atmosphere not so great.
