planning ahead for 2018 and perhaps a little trip before my big birthday trip:cake:

Pop or csr appear to be the fore runners...

Just me & dh

We need wheelchair friendly
I like the look of pop refurb rooms
Stayed at csr prev & liked it (dh would use gym & swim-but could do without)
Like to eat at the foodcourt
Out early for rd
Back in the aft for downtime

Dh does not like noisy air con

Since my favourite resort so far is CSR and my least favourite is Pop, my choice will be CSR 100X. Food is much better at CSR and the grounds are just more luxurious and beautiful. I agree that the renovated rooms at Pop look much better than the old ones but I would still choose CSR for the extra space and amenities.

I'd totally choose Coronado Springs! It is one of the most beautiful resorts, especially at night! Queen size beds. Not as many kids. Centrally located. Great food options, both sit-down and counter service.

CSR is beautiful, and they do have by far the BEST bus service out of all resorts i've stayed (and i've stayed at all value and moderate resorts). I never had to stand, even after wishes at MK. The food court is ok, nothing special to be honest. I like pop food court better. But overall this resort is gorgeous. Beautifully landscaped, awesome main pool. I highly recommend it.

I will say that Pop is one of my fave value resorts. Great theme for adults. Love the food court. I also love being able to cross the bridge over to AoA. Love their food court! Great photo ops too!

Given the choice between the two i'd pick CSR. But what about the construction?

Funny: CSR by FAR had the worst bus service on our trip there (and we've stayed value, all mods, almost all deluxe). But otherwise we did like it alot.
OP: Definitely check on the major construction going on - whether it will be over before your trip.

Another vote for CSR. The theme, seems less crowded, bigger beds, etc.

You might want to also consider PORFQ for the size for mobility issues. Some of the rooms are literally just steps away from the lobby/food areas and bus stop.

Thats a shame you had terrible bus service. :( Maybe it was just sheer bad luck, cause CSR is known for great bus service. Probably because conference folks at that resort dont use the buses much. We never waited more than 5 min for a bus...and this was in August.

I agree with POFQ. Its a small resort and great if you have mobility issues.

I would choose CSR, we have stayed there multiple times and have always really enjoyed it. The grounds are beautiful and I love that with the multiple bus stops your room never feels far from a stop, I also like that you can choose to get off the bus either closer to your room or to the main building/food court. I also like that the CSR pool bar has some pretty good food options for mid day meals/snacks, so you don't have to go to the main food court if you don't want to. The rooms also felt more spacious than those at POP. DH and I did a POP/CSR split stay (POP with extended family then we moved to CSR when they left) and we both commented on how much larger the CSR room felt when we walked in.

I stayed at POP once and I was just not a fan. Although the food court does have a lot of options, they were not things I was interested in. It also felt so loud and chaotic, likely due to the set up (open and also connected to the open store where everyone dumps in from the buses). I know that a lot of people like the lines for buses at the values but I hated it, in no way did I want to start out my day at my resort in a line when I knew how many lines were waiting for me at the parks. I also disliked that you could only be dropped off at the front as there is only one stop. Again, a lot of people love this about the values, but I just do not.

Thanks for all the input guys.

I'm still so undecided

Pofq was incidentally where dh hated the air con:sad2:
I really love pofq-I agree it's grounds are beautiful and a great, small resort.

We will have a car-therefore only use buses for MK.
So wdw transportation isn't really a consideration.

I don't want to be in a construction site-I moved from cbr for that very reason..
