POP or CSR

DD16 and I are going the end of August. DD16 loves to going to the pool for a break while I rest/nap. She doesn't like going to pool alone so she's always hoping to meet friends at the pool so we don’t want to stay where there wouldn’t be many teens (please keep in mind many schools will have started).

We’ve stayed at ASMu 2 years ago and swimming wasn't as much fun as it could be because she was alone. Last summer we stayed at POFQ and met friends there and at POR so she could meet them at the pools.

We’d like to try a different resort this year and CSR is the only moderate (can’t afford a luxury) since CBR is under construction. Where would she find more teens her age...CSR or POP? Any thoughts or recommendations?

CSR! Great location, pool, slide, transportation, and food.

I absolutely love CSR, but for a teenager I think that she might meet more kids her age at POP. We usually stay at either CSR or POP, depending on how much $ we have to spend and I always see teenagers around the pop pool. CSR has a lot of conventions, so IMO the pool is never too crowded, at least the time of year when we go. I usually see little kids at CSR with their parents attending conventions.

I would say CSR. My kids loved that pool, the value pools are fine but if swimming is a big issue and you don't mind paying extra the mods, CSR in particular have wonderful pools. You will also enjoy the larger room, hot tubs and the lovely lake and landscaping of CSR. Love the values but for some stays, its worth it to pay more for your resort if you will use the amenities you are paying for. It sounds like you will, have a wonderful trip!

Oh and she might not meet that many more teens at CSR, its a convention resort so sometimes the clientale is mostly adults who don't go to the pools much. However, I still think CSR would be a great choice for your trip and there will certainly be some kids there her age, maybe not as many as the All Stars which just seem to continue to have hoards of teens but also little kids too which make those pools very hectic at times.
