We are going Jan. 24-31…so I'm thinking there will be quite a bit of tour groups there. Do you think POP or All Star Movies will be better to stay at? It is just my husband and I and we have never stayed value before but we are trying to keep the trip to under 3,000 dollars with food…so value it is.

Right now we are booked in POP preferred. If I switch to All Star Movie Standard I would save about 150 dollars and if I switched to All Star Movie preferred, I would save about 90 dollars.

So a couple concerns, how are the busses at All Star Movie? I'm concerned about the sharing busses at the all stars?

Also does All Star Movie have any king beds? My husband is 6'6 so, while I know POP doesn't guarantee King, I like that we can request a king bed.

Where would you stay as two adults? I do like all the big Disney Icons at All Star Movies but I also like at POP we can walk to Art of Animation. We will be spending some time at the resort and not always at the parks.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I think I've convinced my husband to do a moderate to avoid the tour groups and the cheerleaders. Now I just need to decide between CBR, CSR, and POFQ. I've never stayed at any of them and they all have their pros and cons.

I might be in the minority here, but I prefer Pop Century or AoA to any of the moderate resorts. For us, we just need a place to sleep. The biggest issue I have with the moderates, is that they are sprawling with multiple internal bus stops. So we found that it wasn't as conducive to using the buses to get to the parks. I much prefer the single bus stop at the value resorts, more specifically AoA and Pop, that have their own dedicated bus service. Just something to consider if you plan to only use Disney transportation.

There are plenty of threads dedicated to each of those resorts, so I would check them out, see what is the best fit for you, and go from there.

You would like POFQ.

We have stayed at POP, ASMU and POFQ. If money is not a factor then I would choose POFQ. We like POP alot since we hardly spend time at the resort, but all the value resorts are just so far from the parks, we like a midday break but that eats up so much time riding the bus. POFQ is nice and central plus u have the boat to Disney Springs.
