Trying to decide on POP or Art of Animation. We will be traveling with my parents who will be using scooters. We would be staying in a standard room at either resort. I've stayed at POP before and liked it. The Art of Animation looks fun and colorful for my young child, and their pool kiddie area looks better than POP. But I am worried about the distance for the standard rooms at AOA to the main bldg. And the cost for the standard rooms are higher than that at POP. Just curious what others opinions are on these two resorts. Thank you :)

Yes, the LM rooms are quite the hike from the bus stop, dinning hall, main pool and themed areas. Our family (all adults) stayed in a suite. then two of us stayed an extra night in a LM room and were extremely disappointed. I would advise staying at PoP, they have recently been refurbished and aren't as isolated as the LM rooms.

Even if you stay at POP, the walk over to AOA is super easy for you to visit with your child, and you definetly should, you just can't swim in the pool. But definetly easy to walk over and see all the neat themes.

I've gone back and forth on this in the past. But seeing how far those Lm rooms are I had to choose Pop. I stayed at Pop this summer and got a renovated room and it was awesome. I took one afternoon to explore AoA and it is super cute, but not cute enough to half to walk that far. It's bad enough that the bus stops at the parks are the farthest away for Pop and AoA, I don't want to have to walk that far at the end of a long day.
