Hi all,

We are staying on AKL Kindani for 5 nights and will be adding 1 more night in the end of our stay so we can go to the Halloween party.
I am btw Pop and AoA (little mermaid rooms) but not sure which one will be best for our family. It will be me DH, DS(5) and DD(2).
We plan to just relax by the pool before going to MK for 4pm.

Unless you plan on staying in a suite, I don't think AoA is worth the extra money. I'd go with Pop, I most of the rooms have been renovated now so the both beds are queens. They have a couple of pools and you can walk over to AoA to see it and eat at the food court if you wish.

Right now the difference is $34 more do the little mermaid room.
Yes the renovated rooms and queen beds sounds nice!
How long is the walk?

AoA have a better pool and because is your plan to relax and enjoy the pool I would pick the place with better pool

I would think kids the ages of yours would love the theming of A of A. And the pool. That would be my choice

Yes that was my main reason for thinking AoA is the pools but I heard that the little mermaid rooms are very far away for everything :confused3

I’d go with Pop. It’s cheaper, much shorter walk to the main lobby plus you’ve got renovated rooms with queen beds. The LM pool is fine, but it’s nothing special IMO. The main pool at AofA is much too crowded for me. I prefer the Hippy Dippy pool at Pop.

We are staying 9 nights at AK/Poly and then added AoA for the last night at LM. Flight savings = 'free' room. I had considered Pop but went with AoA for the kids to see the resort and use the better pool. I am not worried about the distance since it is only one day, we get kicked out of the room in the morning and I imagine there will be a lot to look at.

We are arriving after supper and will know our room number by then. I'll just get the minnie van to drop us off at the LM area, call for our luggage and get the kids dressed for the pool.

We stayed at POP in Jan for a one night add on and we loved it. We would be very happy to stay there again. Plus the LM rooms at AoA are really far from the main lobby.

Last year we stayed at both of these for the same time (on different trips). We were surprised at how much we really liked Pop (granted, it was just for one night). But of the two, I'd take AoA.

Yes, the walk is far for the Little Mermaid section, but I've never understood the people who use that as a reason not to stay at a particular place. It's not like we're talking three miles. Look on Google maps to get an idea. One bonus is that on that walk you get to go through the Lion King section, which my son loved.

I just can't believe the Little Mermaid rooms are available!

yes they are but is doable. Being at Little Mermaid rooms you can enjoy AoA pools and can use Pop century bus stop and food cour, the best of both resorts:rolleyes1

I would stay at the AoA. It is so cute and the rooms aren't that far away. It is only one night after all.

We stayed at AOA last year for one night to do MNSSHP. I loved it. But it is a LONG walk to the bus. I mean longggggg.

Overall it doesn't matter but ....
POP gives you newly renovated rooms with Queen beds vs AoA's old rooms with full beds.
AoA gives you excellent pools that would be fun to visit all three vs POP's very basic pools.

If your main goal is a nice day at the pool I'd go with AoA.

I had the same issue this morning! Ended up booking one night at POP and the other at AOA little mermaid room. Couldn't believe they were not only available but heavily discounted as well!

For queen beds alone, I'd do Pop. I cannot sleep with my DH in a double bed (I'm 5'7" and can tolerate a double myself, but not with another adult).

At that age, the kids will enjoy either, so I'd choose Pop if it were me.

Yes but you are only there for one night, and the theming along the walk is great, guarantee your kids will love it!

We stayed for a week at Aoa LM and had pretty much the best case scenario for room and it took us about 8 minutes to get to room or get to bus from room. Awesome theming and kids loved it.

From Pop to AoA? Or to the main hub at Pop from a room? To AoA,it depends on which section you are in, which is the same answer to the hub from the rooms. I'm a walker so I don't think the walk from the furthest room at Pop to the front is really that far and it takes about 5 min. for me to get over the bridge to AoA.

I have stayed at both. I vote AOA. They also have a splas pad type Nemo section that the 2 year old would probably love.
It’s bit that bad of a walk especially for 1 night
