1) I love the People Mover because, for me, it's one of those quintessential things Disney. Like the Skyway. And the Carousel. And yes. Even the somewhat dreaded Small World.

Also. It's one of those places you can sneak in a quickie. (NAP!!!!!! What'd you think I meant?? )

While I waited for the coffee to brew some, I open the curtains and see Tramp staring right at my window. I wish him a magical day!

Once he noticed that I saw him, he said “OK you’re my prey” and BANG he shot me!

So being that we are on Disney property and “kids will be kids”, I got the bright idea to play along. With his shot I grabbed my chest and yelled, “You got me”, then let my body slump in the chair and I pretended I was dead.

With this the kid let out a SCREAM dropped his gun and ran off!

I am sure he never said a word to his parents.....and his parent were wondering why he decided to behave himself for the first time ever

UhOh! The kid thinks he really done me in!

Now what do I do??? Do I run up to the Third floor after an eight-year-old boy, with my hair standing up and me looking all morning crazed? Tell him I am NOT DEAD! What happens if someone sees this crazed loony Adult man chasing after this boy at 6:40am?

In real everyday life James gets up at 6:00am EVERYDAY! If James goes to bed at 9:00pm the night before, he wakes up at 6:00am sharp. If James goes to bed at 2:00am, he is up at 6:00am sharp!

This goes on for some time until I finally get possessed by my mother, circa 1968, and say the following words “That’s it I am not calling you again, I am going with or without you…you can lay in bed all day…I am not calling you anymore…see if I care!”

Did you use his first middle and last name? That was my mother's unwritten warning that I was about to get "it"

It’s amazing how one carries all the MOST annoying habits about their parents and so easily passes them on to the future generations!

Now it is my 2 girls unwritten warning that they are about to get "it"

Anyhow, I am all packed for our “must haves” while in the park; water, passporter, cell phone, camera, band aids, cooling neckerchiefs’, and of course Pal Mickey, at least 40 pounds worth of necessities’. “We are READY let’s go!”

Look for the Bare necessities, the simple bear necessities, forget about your worries and your 40 pounds of stuff you are lugging around all day

You sound like a great uncle. My kids have 6 Uncles, 2 uncle -in-laws and 1 engaged to be an uncle. Not ONE of them do anything with/for my kids. The sad thing is for 5 of them my kids are their only nieces and nephew
The don't even send Bday cards or Christmas cards. But luckily my sister ROCKS and more than makes up for the uncle issues!

Anyway...can't wait to hear/read more!!

Did I not post to this yet? Apparently not! You had me at the screaming, fighting, yelling, cursing Irish family bit! Gee, that's quite unusual for Irish families though. Nah, I can relate!! Except for the "5 minutes later it’s all over with" piece. Clearly that's another nationality in your genes altogether. Our grudges tend to last, oh I dunno, around 30 years or so.

Do I pay my bills? Do I order doggie snacks or their meds from the internet? NO, No No.....I have to check on DU & James....I officially have no life without peaking into theirs Loving your TR and getting more excited to hear everything you have to say in the next month + 6 days until I get there. I want to know things too though, I really want that cling paper too...no luck anywhere I look here on Long Island also can you tell me is there a vcr or dvd in the POP rooms?
