Pop in September

Hi everyone!

DH and I are going to Disney at the end of September this year and in an attempt to save $$ we booked Pop. I normally stay at CBR or POR so please help convince me that I will love Pop and we don't need to spend the extra $$ and move to a moderate. Thanks

The resort we stay at the most is Port Orleans Riverside, but we've stayed at many resorts. On one trip with a friend who was short on cash, we stayed at Pop Century on my parents' recommendation over the All-Stars. Pop isn't as nice as POR, but it was fine, we liked it, we saved money and there were no problems. We are usually at the parks from opening to close every day anyway, and like to resort hop, so the hotel is just a bed. At the time we stayed there, Pop rooms didn't have coffee makers or fridges. Bus service was fine.

We would definitely stay at Pop again if the opportunity arose. There are also lots of other ways to save money: hitting a grocery store and eating breakfast in the room, skipping the park hoppers, doing table service meals for lunch instead of dinner, bringing your own snacks/drinks into the parks, etc.

We have stayed at POP twice and love it...although I am dying to try a moderate and would love the experience, I just can't justify the cost. We are only in the room to sleep and not much else, and do love the atmosphere at POP and my DS was 10 then and is going to be 20 and still wants to go to POP!
POP also now has fridges. I do not know about coffee makers. I would rather stay at Disney longer and spend my extra money on PH etc.

Even upgrading to the DDP with Free Dining at POP the cost to switch to a mod I put that money to Park Hoppers and Waterpark Fun and More instead.
