Pop Food Court Is It Good Food?

Hi we are staying at pop in may,Im thinking about doing our after the park place to eat at pop food court since the kids will be so tired and it will be close to the room. Does anyone have a favorite food or dessert? Please share.

We had breakfast there every day of our stay and it was very good.

My favorite was the chicken curry flatbread sandwich, it was delicious. My DH always got the chicken caesar salad. We never had dinner there so I never tried any of the dinner entrees.

We ate all of our CS meals at Pop last time. We too had tired kids.

My favorite thing there was the parmesan chicken. You can get it with a salad or pasta, red or white sauce on the chicken or just the pasta, or both plain, and it came with a breadstick.

Dh always got the double cheeseburger. We also had the nachos, which were very yummy, though a little pricey if you don't have the DDP. They made the nachos to order from an array of nacho toppings.

The meal I got that the most people stopped and asked me about was the tv dinner type turkey meal. I think they're called Mom's meals or something like that. It was pretty tasty, though not as good as MY mom's. LOL

Lots of good dessert choices in the case. A lot of people like the cheesecake. I stuck with cookies.

It's pretty easy to find your way around, and once you get it down, you will enjoy it. Have a great trip!

I liked the tye dye marshmallow and peanut butter sandwich that my dd got...yummy! And I liked the chicken fingers too, for a quick lunch. The cheeseburgers are good, as were the other desserts we tried. I can't remember the main meals we had, although we did have some from the other choices....nothing was bad and they always have something for everyone. The breakfast was good too, although I think we had pretty basic items.

You can pull up the menus on All Ears, that may help you get an idea on whether or not you'd find things that you could eat everyday

they do have some interesting choices that other value resorts do not. i personally made a meal out of the pita chips with hummus and olive relish. goodness that was great. grab that and a nice glass of red wine from the poolside bar and i am in happy land.

My family like the food court at POP. There is a lot of choices. I had a Ceaser Salad w/chicken that was very good. There were a lot of desserts to choose from. I didn't care for the tye-dyed cheese cake but I liked the Twinkie tiramisu.

I love the tie dye cheesecake and the twinkie tiramasu. Also the chicken alfredo is awsome. For a value resort it has great food. One of my dd's said it was almost her favorite place to eat at disney. She is not into the fancy food.

We liked the flat bread sandwiches, the burgers were decent, chicken strips, made to order nachos, breakfasts, and kids meals were all good. For desserts we liked the worms n dirt, twinkie tiramisu, cheesecake, and ice creams. We ended up eating a lot of meals at Pop (on afternoon breaks or back at night after a long day at the theme parks)

If you do this, get a refillable mug and then use your "drink" on the DDP for a big bottle of water or powerade- then bring that to the parks the next day and get a cup of ice at a Counter service restaurant.

We go to Pop's Foodcourt everytime we go just for their Double Cheeseburger and Fries

I had one of the best cheeseburgers there. It wasn't busy at all, and when I asked for a cheeseburger the woman working the grill asked me if I wanted any sauteed onions on it. Sure, I love onions! She told me not to count on getting them all the time, especially if it got busy, but she was happy to make it that way at the moment. It was yummy to say the least. Everything else we have eaten there has been very good. It's my favorite food court. Just try to hit it on off-peak times. It can get crazy in there!!!

The standards like burgers and chicken tenders are prepared well here. The pasta, salads, and flatbread options are pretty good, too. The one thing I was amazed at was the shrimp lo mein. I expected it to be okay. It was great! A huge portion to share, too. As compared to other values, I think Pop's FC is a cut above. JMO, though.

p.s. When on DDP, we often got fruit cups for dessert and had them later for a healthy snack or the next morning for breakfast.

When we stayed at Pop with a party of 6, we all really enjoyed our meals. Momma special fried chicken and the chicken alfredo are better than mine at home! Every breakfast we had was good also.

ITA with the tie dyed cheesecake, it was good and fun to eat. We may have to stop by here on our next trip for old times sake.

I love the shrimp lo mein and my friend always gets the chicken parmesan. They have a lot to choose from, and the food that we had seemed really fresh.

We loved the POP food court. Our favorites were:

Me: Chicken Alfredo (enough to share with me and dd9)
DH: Chicken Ceasar Salad
DD15: She loved the shrimp lomein...she had it several times.
DD9: Mickey waffles in the morning!

They had some sort of brownie too with white icing...I don't know what it was with that thing...but I had to have one every day...sometimes two! Yum!
