That movie is so scary. Going to Estes Park, CO to visit and stay in the hotel is so much fun. There is a tour that you can take that tells you a lot about the Shining and there is also little museum in the basement that is so much fun to visit to see scenes from the movie and the actual history of the Stanley Hotel, well worth it!! One year my parents went there for their anniversary and actually stayed in "the room." They waited a long time to get that room!!!
