VH1's Pop Culture Icon's is wrapping up. Mickey Mouse ranked #17 of 200. Who will be number One? I have the list up, but refuse to peek. Any guesses (without peeking) who the number one Pop Culture Icon is?

I've been watching it off and on but haven't seen the whole list.

I would probably agree with you about Madonna or Michael Jackson. I'd add the Beatles and Elvis as contenders if they haven't already appeared on the list.

I definitely don't think of Oprah when I think of Pop Culture Icons.

Madonna should have been above Oprah and Superman. Of course there are a lot of people that should have been above Britney Spears too but if they wanted my opinion they would have asked for it, right?

I too was surprised by Oprah being number one. But, she is very influential, and a billionaire!

Charlie Brown ranked #104. I was impressed by the inclusion of fictional and cartoon characters. Fred Flintstone was #42, The Simpsons #21 and Superman at #2.

I was quite disappointed in the list. I would like to know what their criteria was for placing the Icons. I don't know why i even get "mad" about the list because it's kind of baloney. Elvis should have been Number 1, to me. AND...the cast of FRIENDS being higher than...The Beatles. Um, no. And Britney Spears at #20??? She should have been like 150. A lot of the Icons were simply on there because of them being big NOW.
