pop cheesecake

I was a little disappointed in the Tie-Dye Cheesecake at POP. Mine seemed to be a little too dry for my taste. :confused3

I totally agree...I didn't remember it being so dry before but this last trip we all grabbed a piece and I ended up with 4 slices of cheesecake becasue no one else would eat it. We kept them in the frigde and even tho it was that good...it still made for a nice midnight snack at the end of the night!

one trip at POP i was gaga for the twinkie tiramisu, but just didn't get the chance to actually purchase one. on our last night my dh snuck over to the food court and bought it for me  and a tie dyed cheesecake for him. mine was WAY better!! i'm thinking that i'll hi-tail it over to POP on our next trip to grab another. the cheesecake we can do without, it was dry and not yummy at all.

I agree, but the Carrot Cake is yummy!

I thought it was just plain cheesecake with a red velvet cake bottom. I know a lot of people love this cheesecake but I didn't care for it. To me it was bland. It looks better than it tastes.

The whole time I was reading this thread all I could think of was what Homer Simpson might say, "Mmmmm, cheesecake flavored cheesecake."

Oh Lilyv!! I loved your Homer impersonation...just this evening I had to take my son to the Kwik-E-Mart (local 7-11) for a Squishee and a Buzz Cola!

What a fun thing to do! I'll bet he had a great time.

I love the cheesecake but each time I eat it it also has a very interesting affect on me. I don't get sick or anything like that just a strange affect.

You realise you are actually selling this idea to a lot of the weirder members of the DIS by saying this (Me included):lmao: Now we all want to know what the strange effects are! I now have a mental image of tie-dyed, erm, output!

I do not like cheesecake but I loved the Tie Dye one at Pop Century. Must be because it was not as rich or soft as cheesecake usually is. It was sort of like a soft poundcake and not super sweet.

You can find the recipe here. It is not that hard to make. If you have ever made a marble cake it is very similar. I plan to make this as one of the dishes for our Thanksgiving dinner for some Disney friends and neighbors along with a couple of other DW recipes.

Hope the link works. If not just do a search on Disney World recipes and you will find it about the second link down on Goggle.

Yeah, pretty close to that theory!
