I am here now, POP has been less then magical for us this trip. Not sure I will be back. When I left the last time I couldn't wait to get back here, not this time

Very vague can you tell us what made it a bad trip so far?

For anyone waiting for Wishes & MSEP FP+ to become available in October...it's finally happened!

I just booked both for Monday, 10/21. Yay!!!

Happy dance, I just booked both for Wed, Oct 23rd. All of the stars have aligned for me this trip. I wish everyone else lots of pixie dust also.

Very vague can you tell us what made it a bad trip so far?

CM attitudes was the major thing. I have had several dealings with different CM's and they all seem to have bad attitudes. While I was doing laundry, there was a CM complaining about how Disney treats employees and her job. I also do not remember being able to hear people around me going to the bathroom. Yes, I said going to the bathroom. Flushing toilets is one thing, but actually hearing someone going is another. It is disgusting.

No, week days only. Just a word of warning, our MBs had that status for a full week before actually shipping. But hourly they arrive Monday or Tuesday for you.

Thanks for the info about the cooler. I have another check-in question. Does the front desk have a safe? Can it handle larger items like iPads?

An Ipad will easily fit in the safe in your room....
So there really isn't a need to leave it in the safe at the front desk. But yes, it could be accommodated there as well if you really wanted.

We booked Wishes for 10/23!

Just a note from recent experience: if you have the MSEP FP+, just stay put after the parade. I wish I had. The Wishes Viewing area was not in a great location.

I had a similar experience with a grumbling CM when we had just arrived. Our bellhop was taken away from us for a few moments to help translate for a French-Canadian family. When he came back, he was grumbling that they don't pay him to do that. Made me sad. I hate when people complain about their jobs in front of customers/guests.

Hey guys just customized our magic bands for our trip in Nov 11-18! Can't wait let the countdown begin!! All fast passes set and bands colors are picked, free dining is booked and were ready to go! Time for some MAGIC

You know what is not quite magical.

Whan you can't check in on line cause it keeps giving you errors. Then you call in to get help and you wait on hold for a real person for 25 minutes plus and counting.

Back from Pop! This was our 1st stay and we really enjoyed it. We had a great location in the 50's section, building 3, 1st floor, preferred room. Loved this area and would request to be there again if we come back. Our only request was a king bed, which was given. We had a non-working fridge, but had no problem getting one when requested for our toddler's milk. We saw a lot of fridges being moved around and when we came back to our room one afternoon the old fridge was gone and the new one we were using was in it's place. No new bedding. We didn't have any meals there, but did enjoy a couple of snacks which were good. Bus service was great! There was only 2 times we waited more than 5 minutes and one was the 26th at MK that everyone was talking about. But I will say Pop wasn't the only resort backed up, almost all the resorts had full lines. I thought all the CM's were very nice, and never had a problem with any of them. We would absolutely stay there again.

A quick question for everyone who has done online check-in at Pop:
Are you able to request a specific building/section or is it only possible to specify "close to transportation" and stuff like that when checking in online. What options can I select? TIA!

Sorry to hear some of these negative experiences. I've been here @ POP since Tuesday and it's been wonderful all around. So many CMs I've come across (both at POP and the parks) have been incredible. Seriously I don't think I've seen as many happy/friendly CMs in a long time. Of course there are some who are tired or bored or unhappy, but the majority I've encountered have been incredible. The POP CMs so far have been great - front desk, food court, everything.

I did end up getting a fridge credit. I just went to concierge and asked if I could get a fridge or a credit. He asked if it was for medical, I said no, and he happily offered to credit the room.

Room is clean and has been quiet (we're in building 1 facing the trees/parking).

Oh and the reuben stromboli was surprisingly good.

You can select a decade (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s+90s) but not a specific building in a decade. I chose 50s and close to transportation during check in (you can only select two options) and ended up 2nd floor of building 1 (50s section).

Great...I don't want a specific building but would be happy to end up in the 60's or 70's section. Thanks for the quick reply...online check in is just 5 days away now...wohoo

I'm on my way back to the airport now using the DME. Overall another great trip at Pop. I didn't have as easy a time getting the room credit for the fridge as others, but I was persistent, and did get it in the end Thanks DisBoards!
No Disney related travel issues (though many others!) and no surly service. We did take the bus back to AoA more than once though as their lines were invariably shorter than ours.
Food court was better than when we were there the week they switched to the new menu in May. Still abominably slow though I don't understand why they are so drastically understaffed.
No new fridge yet in 50's Building 2, 4th floor, though they did remove the old one yesterday so it should be soon. No new bedding yet either.
Overall verdict: booked the bounce back for this week next year
