Is it okay to take towels out of the room to go to Blizzard Beach?

Are they nice enough or is it better to bring beach towels? They just seem to take up so much space in the luggage.

Yes, you can take the towels to BB but you should bring them back with you. They will also have ones you can 'rent' at BB. Those were bigger and a 'little bit nicer' than the ones you can bring from the resort. They were $2. ea the last time I saw at BB, but not sure if that is still the current price.
Neither will be the size of a beach towel. If you or anyone in your family likes to 'wrap up' in their towel, I suggest bringing the beach towel. The resort towels are on the fairly small size IMO. They aren't awful, but they are definitely small, not designed for 'wrapping' but more for 'drying off'. HTH!! :)

Just as I suspected. I'd really rather have my own. Just not sure what will fit in the rental car. Guess i'll pack a bag that I will take only if fits and put the towels in there. Thanks!

For anyone who is there right now...have you seen the adorable little bunnies who are VERY tame?!!! We saw him/her every single day and was actually able to pet one!

Would you pet a squirrel? Why would you pet a wild rabbit??? Just because you can doesn't mean you should!

but the seats on the bus were full and there were about 5-8 people standing in the aisle. I was holding said infant and had DS4 standing holding onto my leg because no one offered a seat. I wouldn't have minded standing the whole time with one of them, but both of them was tough. I wish people had a little more kindness. I was raised to offer my seat to the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women, and small children
What's wrong with people? ANY able adult who didn't give up their seat and made a young child or a dad holding an infant stand for an hour wasn't raised right :(

Yes, I have taken care of a squirrel and nursed it back to health...thank you so much for asking!!
The bunnies are ridiculously adorable and my family spent quite a bit of time with them...something we will always remember about staying at POP!!

I would still ask. Good luck!

I did ask and they told me no, it was only for people with medical needs that they couldn't help or something. Oh well we still had a fantastic trip!

In Epcot today one hopped right over to my daughter. She put some grass in her hand and it ate right out of her hand. She's in bunny heaven. My mom saw one earlier this evening here at the resort as well.

Ok I did it!
Added an extra night on to my stay!!

woo hoo! :cheer2:

Off to pick another day of FP+ :hyper:
Good for you!! :cool1: In all my trips to WDW, I've only ever been able to do that ONCE! Hope you have a great day! :goodvibes

The traffic for last night's villains bash was crazy. I heard they were at capacity around 9ish. We were just trying to get home from Epcot around 7:30 and ended up spending an hour on the bus. Not trying to sound negative, but the seats on the bus were full and there were about 5-8 people standing in the aisle. I was holding said infant and had DS4 standing holding onto my leg because no one offered a seat. I wouldn't have minded standing the whole time with one of them, but both of them was tough. But we're still glad to be here in the house of mouse and have been having a great time so far.:dance3:

I wasn't going to respond but NOW that you made that comment, I feel the need to... Sorry, but I disagree here... You don't know what every person's situation was and why they were seated. This is a HOT TOPIC that gets many threads shut down. If you don't want to/can't/aren't willing to stand...THEN wait for the next bus. It's just that simple and is not difficult to do. It is NOT FAIR to expect someone else to have to give up their seat to you (general you) unless it is a disabled guest that is not able to be boarded first. It is called personal responsibility. But saying other people have not been raised right because they are not willing to give their seat up is rude!! If we were on the bus, I would not have expected my family members to do that. My children were raised with manners and to respect their elders but there is a fine line and I think this crosses it. Sorry, but that poster had the option to wait for the next bus if they wanted to sit down, but they chose to stand, So expecting someone to give up their seat after they made a CONSCIENCE choice to board a standing room only bus and then EXPECTING someone to give them their seat??? I think that is presumptuous and RUDE! :(

I would ask another CM!! ;) Don't take 'No' so quickly as the final answer. No need to be rude (and not implying you were or would be) but I'd ask another CM or ask to speak to a supervisor. :goodvibes Safe Travels Home!!

Thanks! I might ask again, I just hate asking for things like that. I feel like I'm bothering people so maybe ill get my husband to do it ;-) lol

Ahhh...that's so awesome. I know 1000's of memories can be made on a Disney vacation....and I absolutely love that one of my families favorites was petting our our friend "pop"!!

A LOT of it is in how you ask (not implying you are doing anything wrong!), but occasionally, you can get a CM who well let's just say....has had a long and not so 'magical' work day! :lmao:
I have found that 'most' of the CMs at POP are very pleasant and helpful but again, you can get that 'one' who is 'less than helpful'. When I happen to run across that one....I have learned to 'cut my losses' and end my interaction with them as quickly as politely possible and then I try again later with a different CM. Second time is pretty much always a charm! :thumbsup2 I have stayed there 38 nights this year visiting DD while a CM at WDW. I became friends with many of CMs there since I spent so much time there plus many of them recognized me because I stayed there a good bit prior, a trip in Nov '12, a week in July '12... And I could keep going backwards to 2005 (my first stay at POP). There are SO many CMs that LOVE working there and are VERY helpful! Good Luck getting the Credit! :goodvibes

15 minutes until the car service gets here to take me to the airport...then it's off to Pop Century!! Should be there in 7 hours...so EXCITED!! :)

:confused3 Whats wrong with petting a rabbit? or a squirrel for that matter.

Because wild animals are not pets. Wild animals do not want to be petted. Wild animals do not find comfort in being petted. Just because they don't run away doesn't mean they're enjoying it.

Not to mention they fact that any mammal can carry rabies as well as a wide variety of other disease. You don't know if that rabbit is going to run around and bite you, so why would you want to risk it? Why would you teach your children that this is something that's ok to do?

I'm sorry, but wild animals don't have a voice of their own, so someone needs to speak for them. People need to show more respect for wild animals by leaving them wild. I'm done, I've said my piece.
