We've chartered a tour to take us from WDW to Kennedy Space Center on May 5th. However, we are supposed to meet the tour at the Swan at 8:10 am. We've never been to WDW before - what is the best way to do this? I assume we're going to have to take a bus to one of the parks and then transfer? Advice?

At that hour I say a taxi is best.

The best resort to park to resort bus ride in your case is via Disney Hollywood Studios, all the other parks are quite out of the way. But service does not start until around an hour before the park opens. And buses back to resorts that early don't run as often and it is even recommended that you find a supervisor to make sure a bus is forthcoming for your connection.

The Epcot bus goes to the other side of Epcot which is something like four miles away from the Swan by road.

Yes, with few exceptions (such as All Star Sports to All Star Music), resort to resort trips require a transfer.

A taxi as mentioned. There are too many connections invovled to get there in time. Pop is not that far from Swan, but too far to walk. Should only be a 10 minute cab ride, so not too expensive.

Take a cab. It will cost about $10, with tip. That is what we paid a year or so ago, from YC to POP. The ride is about 7 mins...very quick.
