Pop Century the weekend prior to Pop Warner

I am taking my 5 y.o. son up for his birthday and to go to Mousefest the weekend of Dec 1 - Dec 4. I understand that the Pop Warner Week starts on Dec 4. Do those groups usually come in on that day or do you think alot of them will start showing up on Friday. My son loves Pop Century, but I would switch to a mod to avoid an absolute madhouse.

I was actually surprised that I was able to get a FL Res rate there for that weekend, btw.

I think they must be coming in early. I'm trying to get Pop for our last night, Dec. 3 and all that is available is preferred rooms.

They start practices on Saturday. I wouldn't worry about it. We barely noticed them last year. Ask for a room away from them and you shouldn't either.
I noticed them the most at MVMCP on Tuesday night. Bus was full, they were cheering and having a great time. It didn't bother me a bit.

I checked last week and all that showed as being available was preferred. I checked again last night and nothing showed at POP. I'm not going to make the reservation until the middle of next week though so we'll see what happens when I call.
