I can’t believe it is time for another pre-trip report. I was planning on going in December with my daughter but that has changed. She is going in July with her BF and his family for 10 days.

I was planning on moving this summer to Texas but that also went under, so with the money I have saved up for the move I said “Penni, Let’s go to Disney and get the Free dining offer. I course I told myself “YES”

This past Friday night it was 9:30pm and I am booking at Disney trip for myself and no one is going with me :woohoo:

I got done with Disney and went over to Air Tran webpage and come to find out I got my round trip for $80.00 ---- Thank God, I really am starting to think this trip is just what I needed. When I got done with Air Tran come to find out that they was having a special and it ended in about 40mins after I booked mine.

So you all are asking when I will be going back to my 2nd home. I am leaving Tuesday, September 29th Coming home Sunday, October 4th. Staying at the Pop Century, 4 day park hopper, nothing extra just a very relaxing trip.
This time when I go I will not be running around like last time to see everything. It is going to be more laying at the pool, shows and what ever I think of doing.

Hope to post some picture's from last December -- But I think someone will have to tell me how to do it ---- Please help.

I will post later

It sure has been a very busy couple of day's around here with all the planning and calling Disney a million of times.

As of today I have changed all my plan's. When I called Disney this afternoon they told me that they DO have a standard room so I will be doing that and not a Pref. Room. This time I asked for 50's Building #3 Room 3111 I stayed in that room when I went this past December and LOVED it. It was on the corner so all I had to do was walk out my room to the pool or go around the corner to the lake and up the stairs to see the fireworks. Great room.

I changed my hopper to just MYW, I really didn't use the hopper last time I was there so really didn't want to pay for it this time.

I did get my flight round trip with Air Tran was $100.00 :cool1: Not bad.

Late this afternoon I called my oldest daughter, she is almost 21 and asked her if she wanted to go. She has never been. I told her I would pay for the trip and give her spending money but her dad had to pay for the round trip flight. We will just have to wait until he does agree

I will update more when I get more information and plans.
I just can't believe no one has joined :confused3:scared1:

Hello everyone!
I am back from Mississippi to see my youngest daughter gradute. :cutie:
I only have 2 daugher's and I am so happy to report both are in college.

When I was with my daughter's I asked my oldest (20) if she wanted to go to disney with me. Sadley she does not want to go. So when I got home I called Disney and added 2 more nights and 1 more park pass.
I just can't believe I am going for one full week on free dining.

The only down part is --- I already booked my return flight, so I have change it and it will cost me $75.00, I don't like that since I got the return flight for $48.50. Oh well it sure will be fun. Going Solo for a full week to my second home.:wizard:

So for the update my plans are-------------------
Tuesday, Sept 29th until Tuesday, Oct 6th, Staying at the Pop Century, 50's building, top floor, Standard room. 5 day park pass and best of all Free dining.
I did not get the hopper this time, because when I was at Disney last December I did not use it.

I will update later on like the middle of June to give you all my ADR's which I call on July 1st.

Is anyone else going to be at the "World" when I am there?

Hi - Happy planning! Great price on the airfare :)

Penni, while I haven't done an entire trip solo to WDW, I have had a few days there on my own here and there and I loved being able to do exactly what I wanted when I wanted.

Have you made your ADR decisions? And do you know you can book them on line yourself if you choose? Your 90 day booking window should be just around the corner. So tell us what you've got planned.

Thursday, Oct 1st - Animal Kingdom Day - Dinner: Chef Mickey
Friday, Oct 2nd - Epcot Day(My girlfriend from Tampa is coming for the day and night, Dinner at LeCellier Steakhouse, If can't get in there will eat in Germany at Biergarten.
Saturday, Oct 3rd - Another Epcot day - Dinner at Corel Reef
Sunday, Oct 4th - Animal Kingdom Day - Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
And will be playing golf
Monday, Oct 5th - Magic Kingdom Day - Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

:thumbsup2Some of my favorite places...and a new one for me, Coral Reef, that I will be trying in September.

Is the scooter you reserved for the entire trip, or is this something you pick up at the parks? Have you ever used the park scooters? I plan on getting my walking time built up over the next nine weeks, but may need to resort to occasional scooter use to keep up with my friends for some of the full days we have planned (though I've no problem bailing out when I'm pooped and heading back to the resort for a rest).

When I went this past December I did rent one from Hollywood Studios, The only thing I hated was If i left the park I would not have the scooter.
So this time I am going with Walker's and it will be at the Pop Century when I arrive and I will have it the whole trip. I just turn it back in the morning I leave.
I don't know if I will use it all the time, but it will give me the "Safe" mode that it is there if I need it.

:cool1:Got up really early this morning to make my adr's:love:
Called in right at 7am and found out that they was already making adr's up to Oct 6th :scared1::confused3

But I did get everything I wanted but on different days then I really wanted, but that is okay. Here is what I have

Whispering Canjon Cafe 7:20pm Never ate here before
50's Prime Cafe 8:20pm - Love this place, Great Fry Chicken
1900 Park Fare 7:55pm - Never ate here before
Biergarten 5:10pm - Never ate here before
'Ohana 7:10pm - Never ate here before
Corel Reef 6:00pm Never ate here before

As you can see all new place's to eat at. But just had to go back to my favorite place of all 50's Prime, Hope they have Apple Coberal this trip.

If any of you all have eaten at the place where I will be please give me your input.

Okay the fun starts, Trip paid, airlines paid, wheelchair paid, room request done, ADR's done......Everything is done

Time to shop and pack...And wait for all final paper work to come in the mail.

Terrific PTR! What's going on now? You must be getting excited!

It's wonderful you are happy going solo - my kids are grown and friends not crazy about Disney, so it's been awhile since I've gone. Don't think I'd be happy solo though. I can be an armchair traveler instead! :thumbsup2

Keep us psoted! :goodvibes
