We were there a couple of weeks ago. I took a peek at the reno. Seemed to me the majority of the rooms on the bottom floor were connecting (that's all I could see).
Half the rooms in each building at Pop are connecting rooms -- 18 sets (for a total of 36 rooms) on each floor of each building. Pop has the largest number of connecting rooms out of all of the Disney resorts. You can see the layout of the floors on this map:

Once the refurbishment is complete, there may be a few changes to the room types indicated on this map, but I don't think they will be altering the number of connecting rooms.
We have no kids and my husband and I love WDW. We are crazy about all of it, the food, rides, meet & greets, atmosphere, everything! Our idea of a vacation is always going to be WDW....and the dream of
, read on and off and generally lost my mind due to boredom. That's not to say there wasn't a lot to do on a Disney cruise, there certainly was. It just wasn't the vacation for me. Thank goodness I only booked three nights!
