We just got back from a quick weekend trip to the World.

We stayed at Pop Century.

Check in was quick. Took about 10 minutes max. We were to be put in the 50's bldg. I (idiot!) asked if we could please be put in the 80's bldg. as my brother in law was with us and he LOVES everything 80's. She says no problem but then when she is showing us where to park, I noticed that she had us in the 90's bldg. Rather then bring it to her attention, I just went with it.
(NOTE- I wish I would have kept my mouth shut b/c if we had been in the 50's bldg. we would have had a nice view of Epcot's fireworks. We did get to hear them nicely in the 80's bldg. though)
The rooms are nice. I liked the way they looked, and they seemed more brighter then other Disney rooms. Especially the bathroom. The beds sucked though. Try sharing a double bed with your husband who happens to be 6 feet tall.

The food court was always busy. The food was what you would expect from a food court.

All in all-I would not stay here again if I had a choice. I don't like everything so busy I find it hard to think straight. But for the price I got, it was worth it.

Thanks!! I just faxed my request yesterday (50's section!)

I always get my own bed (DH adn DS share)! Were you there over the holiday weekend by any chance? The holidays are always very" busy" at the values...
