POP Century refurb question

hi all!

I am considering a stay at Pop Century for approx 4 nights, our last trip we stayed at POR but perhaps might want something cheaper this time around but wanted to know what resort if any of the value resorts have been refurbished and when, i thought i read that Pop was just completed but wasnt sure, please any info u can give me would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

I've read on this board that Pop, All Star Music and Sports have been refurbed. We're staying in Sports in March!

Stayed at the Pop twice this year, requested a refurb twice and got one twice. I found them comfortable, all that I needed. Just call in 10 days before your visit and request it.

The Pop refurb was completed in late 2010. Sports and Music were done a few years ago. Movies has never been refurbed.

There is no longer any advantage to room requests prior to check in. Rooms are assigned electronically. If you're wanting a certain area, skip online check in and request it at check in.
