POP Century Questions

Just wondered if they completed the latest faze at Pop Century??? We were there in Nov. of 2005 and they were working on it then.

Also, if so, got any pictures out there???? AND...Can you use your mug from 2005 for the drinks this year? Once you buy a mug, can you use it forever? If not, how much are they this year? We are going back the first week of December. What is the weather like then???

it was a ghost town in may. it doesn't look like they're going to do anything with it in the near future, unfortunately. go to youtube and look up the legendary years at the pop. there's a video on there that someone made when they snuck into the other side.

it's a shame because i really love the pop. the rumor is that if they ever do decide to finish it, they're going to completely tear down what was built (it was damaged in a hurricane) and make all the rooms family suites like they did at ASMu (i think. it's one of the AS resorts, i know that.). i really hope they do something with it soon.

as far as the mug goes, there is a new mug for the Year of a Million dreams celebration, so no. that being said, i did see people at the pop using the old mug, but i'm pretty sure it's frowned upon.

The Legendary Years has not been worked on since 2001. There have been no announced plans to finish it since then....

Mug prices just went up to $12.49. The new policy though is that the mug is generic - not in terms of year - but in terms of resort. Other than a split stay, I'm not sure why you'd really want to use it at another resort, but you are allowed to do so now.

No you can't use your mug from a prior visit. I don't think the unfinished section was damaged. They just haven't done any more work on the area.
