Hi! Quick question ... I am sure this has probably been asked before, but ...
Does PC have a prefered view/bldg? Or something different than the standard view? Is it worth the extra $$$? Does it get you closer to the main bldgs, etc? Thanks!

It gets you closer to the main buildings, but there is no preferred view. We stayed in the 60's building and paid the extra $10 a night and wouldn't do it again. IMO, not worth it.

I thought the preferred section was only in the 60's area? We stayed in a standard room in the 70's section and it was plenty close enough to the Everything Pop building. The 50's section is close too, and it doesn't cost extra either.
The 60's preferred section is close to the main pool, too.

There are no Preferred "Views" or "Rooms" at Pop Century (or All-Stars." What we have are Preferred "Buildings" which are the 1960s. These buildings are the closest to the main building, Classic Hall. Any room within these two buildings are considered Preferred section.

Save your moolah!

We stayed in 50 once and 70's in May. I am not sure what room  but we had a view when coming out our door of the lake. Very nice!
I enjoyed Pop Century!

I have a reservation for Pop October 2005. I had made it for the 60s building. But from what I read here is was not worth the extra cash. SO I changed and saved about 67.00 on my vacation.

Now to get the room paid off by December.
