Pop Century question- laundry and toiletries

Are there laundry facilities guests can use at Pop century? We haven't used them there in the past and with the new luggage policies, I need to pack lighter and maybe do laundry one night. Also, do they still give you shampoo in the rooms? Again, trying to cut back on what to bring.

They do have laundry facilities at POP. You can find them by the pool bathrooms. I believe it was $2 to wash and $2 to dry- you only need one cycle to dry we found. They also sell laundry soap for $1 a load. You can get liquid ALL travel size cheaper at walmart in the travel size section it does two loads and you can take it in your carry on luggage. Than I took dryer sheets with me as well. They do give you shampoo and bar soap but no conditioner or lotion.

How busy did the laundry room seem to be? Is it only open certain hours? I'm hoping to cut back on the amount I bring too.

I believe the laundry rooms are open 24 hours. We did our laundry at night after the parks were closed at around 11pm and left around 1am and there was no one in there but us at that time. We used the laundry room over by the hippy dippy pool. If you go in the afternoon it will probably be busier with people throwing in there laundry and heading to the pool while its washing/drying. I know I have read other threads about this and alot of people here on the boards seem to do there laundry early in the morning before the rest of their family get up. So I would suggest doing it in the evening if you can. Esp. now that alot more people are going to be cutting back on what they bring with the airline cutbacks.
