Pop Century: Petals Pool Barr Lava Lamp Recipe

I just visited Pop Century and had a Lava Lamp from Petals Pool Bar. I really like this drink and never got around to finding out the recipe. I would really like to try and make this drink at home, so if anyone has the recipe it would be greatly appreciated.

This thread has come up at least twice before in the history of the DIS.

Nobody had the answer then either.

There are a number of LAVA LAMP drink recipes on the internet.. not sure if any of them would be even close.

I've tried some of the lava lamp recipes I found online, but none come close to the one I had at Petals. It was amazing, I am going back in June but I am staying at Old Key West. I might just have to find the time to go over to Pop and ask the bartender for the recipe.

You could try emailing for the recipe. I sent a letter about my trip last October about a wonderful CM and added that we loved the Lychee Margarita's that we had at the Wave. I received a phone call about my letter and the CM from the executive offices that called me asked for my email address and then sent me the recipe....
Haven't had the time to make it yet though, but I do have it..

Recipe
Lava Lamp
Pop Century Resort

Ingredients

1 1/4 ounces Bacardi Limon
3/4 ounce Blue Curacao
4 ounces Sour Mix
Splash Sprite
Rose's Grenadine

Method

Build over ice in cocktail shaker and shake. Pour into a glass and drizzle Grenadine on top for Lava effect. Enjoy!

This came directly from the resort. I called after my visit and this is the recipe they gave me. Enjoy!!!!
