Pop Century or ASMu

We are going to Disney in Feb. right now our reservations are for POP but the rate is 12.00 more than ASMu. We have stayed at Music and enjoyed it in the past. Is POP worth the extra 12.00 or would you just stay at Music.

Stay at POP, it's DEFINETLY worth the extra $$ !! It's hard to explain, but overall the layout and quality at POP is one up from the other value resorts!

Did you remember the tax rates are different? I believe All-Stars is 13% and Pop is only 11 1/2%.

Did you inadvertently book a Preferred room (which is the 1960's bldg, NOT a water view, etc...like preferred rooms at other WDW resorts, go figure). It happened to me when I booked Pop - I figured it out when I called to inquire about the difference in price. If you don't want to pay the extra $ call back and make sure you have a Standard room (which is every room except in the 1960s bldg), unless, of course, you WANT to be in the 1960s bldg which is closer to the main bldg than any other bldgs.

We've stayed at All Star Movies three times and really enjoyed our stay!! We just returned from Pop Century and had a great time!!! The hotel is WONDERFUL!!! In fact, we'll be back at Pop in December!!!

We really like the All Stars - and Pop Century! The biggest difference is the buses - Pop Century does NOT share buses, and the All Stars often do.

I've stayed at both and my vote is Pop!! I do remember liking the food better at Music though. But I still would stay at Pop over Music. My friend wants to live there. My D says she wants to stay at Pop every time we go. So our vote would diffently be POP!!!!

I thought all the values were the same price, just the tax was lower at Pop because it's in a different county?
