I haave severe ack injury and have walking problems I do not rent a wheelchair at the resorts, but do dailey at the parks :( I have a preferred room , but from posts, the parking lots are terrible A map would be great !! Thanks all, and , has anyone stayed in the 60's rooms ? Some infor about distances to the pools food court and bus woudl be great, and and one more question :earsgirl: , how did youlke it there compared to Allstar Movies, THANKS:bounce:

If you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you will find a resort map. Yes, the parking lot is a distance from the 60s buildings. But if you are worried about getting your luggage to and from your room, the resort offers luggage assistance.

We stayed at PC in January and have stayed at the Movies frequently. We loved PC!

:o My spelling, oh my god !!! Please read my thank you post for jk1 above, I was so excited that I could not post right:jester:

Yes, I was wondering about your "severe ack injury". I thought maybe it was a body part that I didn't have. :) One time my sister mispelled the words "typo" and spelled it "tyro", so that is what we now call a typo. Actually, we call them "damn tyros". lol My computer is in the shop so I'm using the family computer and I'm making even more tyros than normal. :teeth:

Just so you know, if you get the wheelchair at the resort itself, it's free, and you may keep it for the length of your stay... at the parks, I believe it's $7 per day.

Stitch - Yes, I know that map is better than mine... lol... I didn't have a scanner at the time, and I just took a picture of the map with my digital camera. LOL

Thanks for the map link! We are so excited and can't wait to get there! And thanks to everyone for the great tips-we should have an even better time-if that is even possible!:hyper:

TIGGERAND BELLE' TOO FUNNY, I make "tyro's" on a routine basis. Have time for a funny story that has nothing to do with Disney ?:bounce: Many winters ago our family was in the car, DS was just starting to talk real words, and were cut off really badly, my husband had to really slam on the brakes, we skidded and almost crashed. He could not control himself and screamed "A_ _HOLE" at the car which cut us off. I was really angry at him for losing control and using that language in front of the baby. We had a long debate about this, he insisted our son would not remember, and he would never do it again in front of the baby. Really bad snowstorm the next day, and it happened again, cut off, had to slam on the brakes, BUT, before my husband could get the words out, from the baby seat in the back we heard "HATHOLE". :earseek: So just like tyro's, hathole became a word for our family, we haven't used it in years, but your tyros reminded me.]

There was a "hathole" that wanted to run through a red light and hit us today! He didn't, thank goodness.

That is a funny story! It's a good thing that young children mispronounce a lot of words! My 4yo has 3 older siblings and hears things that he shouldn't hear. Not always bad words, but a rougher way of talking. Some things he picks up and other things he doesn't, but he will call people idiots on occasion. Ugh!
