If you stay in the 70's or 80's section of Pop, how do you get to the busstop? Do you have to walk to the lobby and then walk out front to the busstop, or is there a short cut from the buildings further away from the lobby where you can just cut over to the busstop and bypass the lobby/foodcourt? Hope that makes sense! Thanks -Steph

Hi we stayed at the 70's building and didn't find any short cut. We had to go through the main building.

Not sure, but check out the groovy pop century thread below a little ways, there are tons of posts on there.

Yes, I believe there is one at the end of the '70s building and before the '80s/'90s area. It would be on the side with the Big Wheel. It is by the playground. We stayed in the '70s area, and we never used it. It was easier to go through the foodcourt. We stayed right by the Mickey phone. The first night we were in the '90s building, and we walked through the parking lot. That was the most direct route. I didn't like that, though. We had a stroller, and it was hard to get through the cars.

Pop Century Info Thread

This link will take you to the info thread. There is a map in that thread. Tyler posted it about the third post in. There is actually a walkway before the '70s, and I think that is the one by the playground. But, if you look at the map, I don't think they are really shortcuts to the bus if you are staying in the '70s. They seem to curve around. If you are staying the '80s '90s I'd use it, if you are in the '70s I'd go through the foodcourt.

We stayed in the 70's B building (Room 144). We were right across from a playground. We just followed the walkway to the parking lot and around to the bus stop. It was very easy. But if you get a room all the way on the other side of the 70's section it may be easier to go through the food court.

We were in the mickey phone building, and we did use the short cut most of the time. It's shorter when you're getting on one of the end buses, like DTD. It is over by the playground area, but don't use that sidewalk, it does curve around out of the way. Go straight by the big wheel & keep walking straight along the rooms, turning left at the sidewalk at the end of the building. Head towards the parking lot, but use the sidewalk on the edge of the lot. We weren't sure if it was actually quicker, so DH went through the building way and I got to the bus stop first.
