I also found a group hosting an Illuminations Dessert Party on the Italy patio on 10/1 (for the 25th celebration). If you're interested in that, I think they still have some openings.

Good Morning.

I am not normally one who would ask, but please send some pixie dust my way.

DH and I are thinking that he is getting laid off from this job....His "boss", the contracter he is working under, is acting VERY shady. DH has worked under this company before in the past, and this guy started acting this way last time right before he let DH go.
Another guy (co-worker) called last night and told My DH that the "Boss" wanted DH to give THIS co-worker DH's work cell phone??? Said that the "boss" wanted this other guy to have it, but he would buy a new one for DH -yeah right-not counting those chickens!!! Plus there has just been alot of other REALLY shady things this contracters been doing...not answering DH telephone calls, having DH step down as foreman because DH has 2 physical theropies each week (remember he had a broken ankle when this guy begged DH to come to work under him). I dont know its just all a little fishey, and Im worried to death!

Anyway, I am up way earlier than usal, cant sleep, Im sick to my stomach, nervous. This couldnt have happened at a worse time-I mean we are leaving in what 39 days or something! I have my trip paid but still woking on saving money for gas in the van, hotels on the drive down and home, and spending money for the kids.

please just pray that this is NOT happening--I should know for sure by today or tommrrow. This coward of a contracter wont just come out and say it--he is too much of a scardy cat.

Oh, Honey! I SO know where you are coming from. When Matt used to Ironwork, sometimes lay- offs came straight out off the blue. It sucks! We were always afraid to take vacations, b/c his next job could be a day, or 2 months away! He can draw unemployment, right? That was always a saver, especially since union member unemployment seems to be a much more substantialamount. I will hope and pray that he gets to stay on!

Thanks for all your thoughts!! It may have worked...Dh just called and said he spoke with the "boss man" and he said everythings fine and that we have nothing to worry about---sooo well see.............

Bought more disney stuff yesterday.....just the stuff to make the mouse keeper envelopes, I couldnt find disney stickers though-any suggestions on where to get them? Also found some Mickey mouse club house coloring books! I am getting sooo excited. I am ready to get out of this town! I swear if I dontget away soon Im gonna go crazy!

My dad used to be an ironworker... and dh has been let go a time or two... very very hard!!

BTW I've been trying everyday to post - but it never works!!

I have LOTS of glow sticks in the garage I found - I'll bring them (between 50 - 100 I think!! I think there are lots of green ones!!)

Not sure what our itenarary is yet - we havent paid our bill yet...

BTW in case you didnt know Utahmama is indeed going to be there - with bells on!!

Farrah's DH is a painter. Luckily, my DH is no longer an Ironworker. The $ was good...when he was working! I hated it!

I can't believe how close we are getting .. almost in the 30's for us .. holy cow .. I remember when i was thinking "In 30 days we'll be goign to Disney in 6 months" lol. I've been counting down forever and can't believe we are in the homestretch and I"m actually counting down to LEAVING for Disney now!
