Hi, guys! Wow, have a busy workweek and get many pages behind

I'm definitely in for bringing things for the glow juice! We are driving down also. I have no idea what to bring though? I think we might be bringing my dad's truck so we should have plenty of cargo room. I could bring a big thing of juice or an extra cooler. What do you guys think about having one cooler for the alcoholic mix and one for the non alcoholic mix? or would that be too risky? I am game to bring whatever though. I am pretty sure that DH & I will be bringing some alcohol for the week so I could bring something for that night also w/out any problem. I think trying to nail down a basic/general recipe isn't a bad idea. Then we can sign up for the various items on the list. But, you guys are planning, so just tell me what you think would be good and you got it! Btw, my regular liquor of choice is vanilla vodka.... not sure how that would go w/ the fruity punch concotion... but it goes real well w/ coke zero.

On Fantasmic for the 24th... We have plans for AK that day. Our TS plans are iffy that day. We will either do lunch at WCC at 2:40pm or dinner at Boma at 8:30pm. We have park hoppers, so I'm thinking I'm gonna push for lunch at WCC, then hop over to MGM to finish out the night. Then we could meet up w/ you guys for Fantasmic! I'll work on the rest of my crew and let you guys know.

Got another question for you guys - I was looking at glow necklaces and bracelets. It is all adults in my party, but it would be fun to have a few and to hand them out to random kids at night parades, etc. The bracelets are cheaper per 100 than the necklaces. I was wondering... do you think I could get 100 of the bracelets and then connect 2 or 3 together and make them into necklaces? Then I could have 30-50 necklaces, which should be more than enough. That site posted earlier, 100 bracelets would end up being like $15, but if I got 50 necklaces then it would be $30. What do you guys think? I can get dh to go for $15 better than $30, but I can also just keep looking.

LOVE Vanilla Vodka....makes mighty tasty martini's

My turn to throw in some punch recipes. I looked for ones that don't have alcohol in it but would taste good if we added our own "special" ingredient :

Koolade Punch:
1 (4.6 ounce) package cherry flavored sweetened soft drink mix
1 (46 fluid ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (6 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

Easy Punch:
4 (0.13 ounce) packages unsweetened strawberry-flavored drink mix powder
2 (46 fluid ounce) cans pineapple juice
3 cups white sugar
4 quarts water
2 liters ginger ale

Party Punch:
1 (12 fluid ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
3 cups water
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
1 liter ginger ale

Fruit Punch:
2 (6-ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
2 (6-ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 (48-ounce) can pineapple juice
3 cups water
3 cups sugar
2 pints strawberries, hulled
1 (1-liter) bottle lemon-lime soda (recommended: Sprite)

So lets take a poll on which punch sounds the yummiest (is that even a word?) or if someone has a tried and true punch recipe they have made we can use that one and then we can all pick an ingredient to bring. The amount of people who are going we should double whatever recipe we pick.

I would be interested in splitting the 100 necklaces also! That would work out well. There are 5 of us in my party and all adults... so not sure if the others will even wear them. So that would give me a nice handful to pass out to random children.

You know... DH is a recovering alcoholic (5 years) and I dont drink but maybe once a year on new years(just out of respect for DH), but he has already givin me the go ahead on the mojito party! I will prolly only have one mojito but who knows what that will do to me WATCH OUT PEOPLE FAT, DRUNK GIRL COMIN' THREW...and she only had one drink!!!! (please dont let this B me)

Hey everyone~I didn't get much time online yesterday, but your comment just made me think...I have had a drink since Feb. 2006. That's when I found out I was pregnant. OMG, one drink & I'm totally going to be the crazy girl at the party hehe

Ok, Becky and Farrah, I'm kinda the opposite of you guys. No kids yet, but we are planning to start trying toward the end of the year (after Disney ). So, We drink more than we probably should. But I think about it like this... once I start trying to conceive there will be no alcohol until after I finish breastfeeding, which could be a long time. cause who knows how long it will take to actually get pregnant. Then we want more than one... so... I'm enjoying drinking now while I still can Btw, congrats to your hubby Farrah! 5 years is something to be proud of!

Well, nothing new going on for me. We have a big group of DH's friends over. 8 of them not really a big deal though... they are all here at least once a month. It occupies his time and gives me more time to DIS works for me

I would definitly B interested in sharing the purchase of the necklaces. I have been all over the internet and cant find anything I am willing to buy wholesale on my own. I have been looking for those glow ice cubes too and theres NO WAY Im paying over $2.00 for one light up cube (Im so cheap). I did purchase some light sticks and those light up ball necklaces today at walmart for $.88 a piece~didnt think that was to bad! Let me know if you wanna do that and I can pay you via paypal, send cash to home address or whatever. Thanks sunshine!!

Also I had some ideas last night. I thought name tags might be a cool idea with both screen name and real name, for those who aren't swimming anyway. And I was thinking that if we had those plastic carnival bracelets, you know like the ones you get to ride all day, the over 21's from our party could wear tham, so we'd know who could be into the alcohol and who was from our party and not some greedy bystander drinking to a drunken stupor. We could probably find them VERY cheap and maybe even in Dis green. 100 are $8 from oriental trading.

Hey Amber! I am in the same boat. We are going to be trying at the end of the year...have to get through Disney and a wedding in Oct that both me and DH are in and then I go back to fertility treatments. So we like to enjoy a drink or two....or THREE . I will make DH the sober one that night cause we will have my step-daughter with us....he can let loose on our "date" night that we are going on a few nights later.
