I've read some people buy the little coffee makers to bring for their room. It's ridiculous that the values don't have coffee makers when any motel 6 would.
I need my coffee in the morning, too, OP! So, I actually DID bring a coffeemaker with me when we stayed at ASMu one year!
Of course, if you are flying, that's a problem, but we drive..
And, by the way, I'm one of the odd birds that actually likes that "coffee" that people on here diss...
First thing I bought and packed this year was a small coffee maker for my carryon luggage! Last year, after a couple of days of that terrible Nescafe coffee at the food court (BTW it is not brewed,as I watched them refill the machines with a brown liquid mixture), I finally gave up drinking coffee while I was at POP. NB.... When purchasing coffee in the parks make sure to ask if it is freshly brewed or the nescafe slop. I also had to purchase a carton of milk, as the creamers are non-dairy products. Yuck! This year, it is Tim Horton coffee freshly brewed in my room every am! We Canadians love our Tims!
Have you tried Starbucks Via? They really aren't bad. I know what you mean about the coffee, I am an addict too. Can't wait for Starbucks in the parks!!!!!!!
I know, that is a bummer, but surely they will keep the cinnamon rolls? Starbucks would be crazy to eliminate those, they are a major source of income. I did however notice they had the same cinnamon rolls back in the new Fantasyland when we were there. So maybe many bakery items are just being relocated to new areas in the park??
Which actually could end up being a good thing, if the bakery items are in various locations it would avoid the juggernaut on Main St in the mornings. Of course the Starbucks coffee is going to be a whole new form of chaos! LOL
