Pop Century Here We come!!!

I am going to WDW for the first time with family and friends!!! I can't wait!! I have always wanted to go, now I get the chance!! I'm just a little concerned about the negative comments about Pop. We're staying there. Please tell me that the good out weighs the bad!!

I think you'll be pleased...it was my first Value resort, and I was impressed...it is a fun, clean, nice resort and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We thought it was awesome. It is a beautiful resort. It doesn't have water slides, but that's what the water parks are for!!!
And it doesn't have a fancy restaurant, but then you get to go see the other resorts when you go out to dinner!!! Visiting the other resorts was alot of fun. They are very nice, but also double the money!!

POP is new and in excellent condition. No complaints whatsoever!!

We stayed at POP in Mar 2006, 8 of us and loved it. Our kids and grandkids all thought it was great. I would not hesitate to stay there again except we just bought into DVC. Have a great time

Pop is a cool place to stay, i'll be staying there for a 3rd time in a couple of weeks

POP is one of my favorite resorts, and it definitely is my DH's favorite resort. It's fun, playful, and POP's bus transportation is excellent.

I'm surprised you heard a lot of negative comments....I've been doing a lot of reading on these boards plus know a few people who have been to POP and most of the feedback has been very positive! Hope you have a magical trip and a wonderful stay at POP!

My family went May 06 and loved it! I too had heard on another board that Pop was dirty and dingy already. I did not see that at all. I thought the pools were great and yes they don't have water slides but as previously mentioned that's what the water parks are for.

We stayed in the 50's at the top of the bowling pin swimming pool, just left of the juke box. My three DD's loved the large Lady & Tramp.

Food court was wonderful and had 2 breakfasts there and 2 lunches. Hippy Dippy Pool was nice becasue they had a wading pool for the then 2 1/2 year old.

Buses were nice because Pop has its own as opposed to all Stars that (last time I went) share a bus for the three of them.

You'll love Pop! We did and wouldn't hesitate going back.

We've stayed at Pop Century quite a few times now - and it is one of our favorites!! We'll be back at Pop Century in July for two weeks!!! Can't wait!!!
