The Walt Disney World Resort officially confirmed that Disney’s Pop Century Resort received upgrades to the Wi-Fi service earlier this week. Guests with wireless-enabled devices will be able to connect to the complimentary network by locating “WDW Resorts Guest,” selecting the "connect" option, and then accepting the terms and conditions.

Additional Walt Disney World Resort hotels will soon receive these enhancements. The planned upgrades to the Wi-Fi service will result in faster, more reliable internet connection and access will be available in more areas.

Just an FYI:) Like all free hotel wi-fi, it is still un-secure, so I use either my mi-fi or cell phone hotspot which at least is encrypted, especially in this day of identity and CC theft. Before 5-6 years ago, I would not even of thought twice about using hotel wi-fi. But at a conference that I was attending, (which was at CSR) they had a speaker talking about cyber security and during his speech he said "that he easily hacked into the free CSR wi-fi and captured these messages", which he put up on the screen. Even then I was skeptical, until my co-worker saw one of her posts, from the night before:scared1:

I always bring my secure hotspot and use it if I am doing anything other than just checking news and weather, or watching You Tube videos. I look forward to trying this out in December.
