Pop Century Food Court

That chocolate-marshmallow cheesecake looks really good, I'll have to try it. I love cheesecake, though I think I'll stay away from the ty-dye one. Also will have to try the twinkie tiramisu.

If the pizza's anything like the one at All Stars, I will definatly be staying away from it.

We really enjoy the Pop food court. The kids usually get the chicken fingers or hamburgers - same as you get in the parks. I enjoyed the parmesan-crusted chicken - I requested it with the marinara sauce instead of alfredo - it was really good. I also had the Mom's Night Out turkey dinner - very good as well. Since I'm not really a big eater, I ordered for myself the kids penne pasta meal - it was very good and just the right size for me.

Great tips on this thread. Now I know what to stay away from ( the dreaded tie dye cheesecake and the pizza) when I go to Pop next week. Thanks. :thumbsup2

We were there in December, and were pretty disappointed with the foodcourt. I was craving a meatball sub, after having one at the French Quarter food court, but even though they are, I believe, the same price, the Pop foodcourt did not toast the bun, leading to a soggy sub. The tie-dye cheesecake was awful - but my dd did love the way it colored her tongue. Especially disappointing was the way they had almost all of the beverage bar closed down by 930 at night. We only got a frozen coke once- the machines were either broken or closed all the time. The waits are long and the cleanliness was very unDisney. :confused3
We were also there in december and found the food to be great. did not find the cleanliness to be a problem, not any more than anywhere else on disney property. the drink stands did close early but there was always one open until the rest closed.
The penne pasta and chicken parm were great always hot and tasted wonderful. the aaragula salad was also great.the kids had the hot dogs and fries and were realy good.also the hamburger was also good acording to DS. all deserts tried were great except the twinkie tiramasu but this was just too sweet not bad. didn't try any tie died stuff just couldn't force myself to.

I guess ia m in the minority because i didn't think that POp was all that great. I know diffrent people like diffrent things - the rest of my family loved it. i thought the sloppy joe I got was nasty. i did end up settling on a tuna sandwich when we went out of the cooler and that was pretty tasty. Aslo the yogurt parfait was really good !

I agree. It's the only food court that absolutely nothing that appealed to me. I did have a diet Coke there that was quite good.

Our favorite is the Parmesan Chicken & Alfredo Penne.

While there we some things that weren't our "favorite", we've never had anything that I'd deem "terrible". Then again, we never tried some of the things that are getting the most votes for being bad.

We ate there in February and had the chicken caesar salad several times and it was wonderful. They make it fresh when order so it takes a little time but worth it. The chocolate cake was very good also.

The mickey waffles for breakfast were great and so were the muffins. Seemed every morning that at least one of the coffee machines was out of order which made for long lines.

We are planning breakfast there every morning except for one, what breakfast items were good? Also are the breakfast portions big enough for two to share?

The waffles were our favorite. :)

The platter is definitely big enough for 2 to share. DD & I shared most breakfasts, but we don't eat much for breakfast, so I'm not sure if the other options would generally fill up 2 people.

The mickey waffles (2 waffles, bacon, sausage and apple sauce) was $3.59, it is the child's menu item but my mom and I had it almost every morning and loved it. My husband had the eggs platter which 2 could share. My SIL tried the fritta which came with potatoes and toast. The pancakes were a large serving also.

One suggestion, get there before 8am. At 7:30, it was only half full by 8am it was crazy in there. They will also package all items to take back to your room.

usually i'm not a fan of food court fare but we were pleasantly surprised at Pop...we only ate a few meals there, I got shrimp lomein which was as good as the Chinese place at home makes it(which is not the best I've ever had but fine, not sure if they still have it) and husband got a burger he really liked and chili he really liked. we both got twinkie tiramisu which was really sweet and not terribly tiramisu like but good. we got breakfast platters which were fine and i got the breakfast pizza which was good but i like trail's end's better( it has a biscuity crust, pop's is more like a pizza crust if i remember right). and a piece of double chocolate cake to eat on the way home... i wished i had another piece of that ( better than the twinkie any day). the thing i like best was everything was hot and good and fresh when we got it, not like it had been sitting on the steam table all day.

we ate breakfast every morning but one while at pop, and had a few lunches and suppers also. i would have to say that we had a nice variety each time, and the only thing that we did not care for was the chili dog, and that is because we do not care for beef hot dogs. that being said we are looking fwd to getting back to pop for the great variety they have!!!

Stay away from the Asian food...not good at all...very salty also...breakfasts are great, never had lunch there, dinner...I didn' try there meatball sandwich, but everything other than the Asian food was good!
