We are wanting to dine at Crystal Palace at 8:05 the morning we check into our resort. We are going to be AT the Pop at 7:00 to register....and want to be seated to eat 8:05...however, we can either chance the bus, or take our vehicle, drive to TTC, and monorail over, then walk to the CP. Would 8:05 be doable, or should we aim for the 8:25?

You could find long lines of people waiting to check OUT of Pop at that time. Whether it is at 8:05 or 8:25, you would be better taking the bus. The bus lets you off about a two minute walk from the MK entrance. At that time of morning only the Resorts monorail is running, not the express, so it you took it there would be stops at the Poly and GF first.

In theory no problem. I'd catch the character breakfast bus from Pop. I don't know how busy they are in the morning but I have checked into WL and CSR pretty early with no lines to speak of. Most people doing checkout don't have to go to the front desk these days do they??

Hey! We also have an 8:05 am ADR for Crystal Palace! We are staying at POFQ...what time do you think we should board our bus to make it?

I have a 8:25 am adr for crystal palace from pop and I was told that I should request a taxi to magic kingdom the day before my reservation just to be safe. I dont know about the breakfast busses and how many run at a time.

First of all, the buses can get you from any resort to any park in less than 20 minutes.

Second, check at your resort as to the early morning buses.

Third, a taxi from PO to the TTC would be over $10 and you would still need to transfer to the Resort Monorail.

For an 8:05 ADR at CP I would want to be on a bus by 7:30. This would allow for getting to the MK Bus Station, walking to the MK, having your name checked against the ADR list, and walking to CP.

Again, check at your resort for latest information about buses in the morning. If the person is not sure, ask them to call Transportation for a specific answer.

I too was wondering as I have 2 early ADR's in MK during my stay... your post was really helpful in understanding best way to do it....

I would do express check or if that was not doable I would go a few minutes prior to 7am. Then plan to be at the bus stop at 7am for the character bus. You should be just fine.

I think the bigger issue over the getting to breakfast is the checking in. We waited well over an hour each time we've stayed at a Value--part of the reason we don't stay in the values any more ;) For our early breakfasts we try and be at the bus 1 hour before to give us time to wait for the bus and get there, walk, check in, etc. It's much more hit or miss with the check in in my opinion.

I agree that check in may hold you back. We didn't have to wait in line at all but it still took us about 15 or 20 minutes to check in. If there is a line in front of you, who knows how long it could take :confused3 .
