Pop Century Booked for Feb?

First time posting, so I apologize if this question is silly and/or in the wrong place!

I'm planning a trip with my mom for a few days during the first week of February - we were hoping to stay at Pop, but it was unavailable during the dates in question even before Gift of Magic. I keep checking, thinking people will switch their reservations to more expensive hotels now that the discounts are here, but no luck so far.

Are rooms likely to open up as we get closer, or should I just bite the bullet and book AoA or something instead? Also, during the week in February is usually a non-busy time to go...but if the hotel is fully booked four months in advance, maybe that's no longer true? Or is there something else weird going on?

Thank you in advance :)

They are busy all year now. You might want to call like I do when I make reservations. just. tell them your dates and they'll find something at pop for you.

Ah, thank you so much! I called and they were able to find me something - my trip is officially booked :D Nice to know that crowds have increased year-round, and I'll need to be more careful/preemptive in my hotel booking in the future.

I really appreciate your help - I probably would have just kept stalking the website if you hadn't suggested a phone call, haha.

We have POP booked for Feb next year too. (near end of month) It will be our first time staying there. (Originally booked at ASMo but switched to the play, stay, and dine promo and they didn't offer that at ASMo during our dates)
