Pop Century bed question

Hi all,

I am going with my DD on a trip to WDW for the 50th anniversary, October 3-6 We are staying at POP and need to know if the Sico/Murphy beds are in every room, or do we need to request it.

I would think they are in every room except a room with a King bed only. I hope someone here can say for certain.
I can add that I was in a room w/ the Murphy bed over New Years Eve 2020/2021 and loved having that extra bit of space when not sleeping. The bed itself was also very comfortable!!

When you booked it should tell you what kind of room you booked and what the max number of people who could sleep in it is. You could also call and put in a request NOT to have a king bed since there are only 2 of you. You either have a king bed that sleeps 2 or a regular room that sleeps 4.

Any room except a king bed. And rooms with a king are a request. If there are only the 2 of you on the reservation, you could request “need 2 beds” or something, though chance of getting a king is fairly low anyway.

So I just called reservations, they said there are 2 request that can be put in a reservation either a king bed or 2 queens (1 of course being the table bed) so I put in a request for 2 queen beds. She then told me that in 24 hours I will see the request on my reservation in the my Disney experience app. Where would I see that request, I don’t ever remember seeing requests on my reservation for me to view.

Very good idea to request two beds when there are only two people on the reservation. Last time we went, me (mom) and DS 22 got an “upgrade” to a king room- they said since we were a party of two. Well that didn’t work for us. While we could have shared a king bed, we really didn’t want to. They then upgraded us to a deluxe one bedroom and we got to look at GE from our room! And see fireworks from both EP and HS! Amazing!!! Btw, we were staying in GDT.
The trip before that was at Pop and we loved it there. The beds were new and very comfortable. The Murphy bed had the exact same mattress as the regular bed.
