Pop Century - 80s

OK, leaving on Friday. What do you want to bet that we get the 80's, once again near Roger Rabbit? I need to be less terse in my posts. We really do love Pop, even when we're far, far away from the food court.

Here's hoping you get something a little closer... :wizard:

Have a great time and try the Twinkie Tiramisu for me!

We stayed at the POP last 2 years, both times we were in the 80's. It is a long walk to Classic Hall, we cut through the parking lot to get to busses, it was alot quicker that way. I love Pop, we will be there again in Dec. :cool1:

OK back from the Extravagant Birthday Trip II. We were in the *90's*, and no king bed request either. We were on the 4th floor facing the parking lot, definitely our worst view ever. But, the room was very quiet, and it worked out fine for us. The *free* dining plan had too much food even on a 3 day weekend. We ate CS at Pop, Flame Tree Barbeque in AK (we share meals) and table service at Teppanyaki and California Grill for Don's birthday. He was too full for the birthday cake I ordered! We went to Earl of Sandwich on our last day (monday the 19th) and got sandwiches for the flight home. I definitely will return there -- great food. We used up our snacks, one last Minnie bar and ice cream cookie sandwich at a kiosk in DTD, with 2 waters. The CM said many families get 8 or 9 waters to go!

I requested 90's, maybe this is not as requested, so it won't be noisy. It's also close to the parking lot. Does anyone take busses even though they have a car? We always drive to parks...don't like to depend on catching the bus.

Welcome back!
Sorry they couldn't get you a little bit closer (or at least provide a free segway :moped: ) but it's great that you got free dining. I wish they were still offering it when I go! :earboy2:

queenof2princesses- I have tried both driving and taking the bus, but I usually prefer taking the bus. I don't love the crowded conditions sometimes nor the walk & wait. (Though Pop is not as bad as some.) But at the end of a long day, that is still preferable to having to drive back. ::yes:: Use the search feature, and you'll find plenty of other opinions though. :magnify:

We just got back stayed in the 80's 7322 7 building 3rd floor. King size bed free frige, it wass great our pool was empty till the weekend we left sept 11 -18. no noise till the night befor we left and that was kids running down the hall. if you cross the parking lot the busses are really close. then the food court is right there too it not THAT far away. very nice spot for two. I think it better than the others you can see the other side of the lake, unfinish buildings. It was neat they where back there but i would not what that to look at all week!
