POP Century - 1st Stay Impressions

My Family and I are staying at POP and we were concerned about the beds and pool. Hopefully some of these problems are somewhat remedied.

We had a fabulous stay at POP -- no problems whatsoever and we felt more immersed in Disney there than we did at POFQ (which we loved also)! Don't let others dissuade you from staying there -- we are staying there again in June (unless we change to AKL -- but that is the only other resort we are even considering)!

Our beds were fine and the pool was awesome!

DH, DD3, and myself stayed at POP in September 2007. My DH had always wanted to stay there. Well, WE HATED IT. can you say "CHAOS"

the food court, the long walks from the parking lot, the not being able to find a place in the parking lot. it was awful. Don't get me wrong, we were there for Free Dining, but it was ridiculous.

Too much chaos, too many people for us, even our DD wasn't all that impressed.

We will be going back to CSR - I guess we are more quiet staying people, CSR is quiet, laid back and nice to return to after a long day at the park.

Knavey, so sorry about your experience. So many things can happen in a trip, bringing so many factors in. Our sister's retreat was great this past January. Pop's layout I thought was much better than All-Star Music's, but I guess that's because we had someone with us that was a little slower.

My favorite things about Pop are the close proximity to the main building and pools and the gift shop was nice, but not having to stop at other resorts when going back and forth from the parks was the clincher for me! That was SO nice.

I hope your next trip goes much better!

We went last August and didn't enjoy our stay. The room had a moldy smell and we later realized that in a corner the carpet was very wet, like someone who dumped a few gallons of water. We asked someone to come by and see if they can dry it up but it was*still as wet and smelled We were in the 70. Plus one of the bed was off the base... It looked as if they didn't redo the room from the people that were there before us....
We finally asked to have a different room. They put us in the 50's which was better. But Pop was way to big and busy. We didn't enjoy it as much as All Stars Movies. So we will probably won't go there again
We are planing to go To Coranado Springs next time if we can manage to save more money or else we will stay at an All Star for sure
