Pop Cent.- Winter room only code rate -- when is balance due?

The guy on the phone when I made my ress. said the balance was due upon arrival (Jan. 28). My statement I got in the mail today says balance due 3 weeks before (Jan. 7). He also told me I had until 5 days before to cancel, and if I cancelled after that, all I would lose is my deposit. Would they refund the rest if I paid in full before? What gives?

I have made reservations twice at the POP Century.

I always had to pay one night's fee down at the time of the reservation. The rest I paid when we checked out of the POP Century.

I think that if you paid in full and cancelled that they would refund you all but the deposit amount that you had to pay up front.

As far as I know they charge your card for the room when you check in. Then at the end of your visit they process any additional charges during your stay.

I would call central reservations and ask them about when the final payment is due.
