We are taking a Disney Cruise on February 13th and will arrive in Orlando the day before. I would rather stay at Disney rather than going over to Cocoa Beach that day. We will just drive to the port in the morning. We usually stay in a deluxe or a moderate, but this time I need two rooms because my son's girlfriend is traveling with us. She and I will have a room and my DH and DS will share a room - just more comfortable for everyone. Do you think Pop Century would be a good choice for us? We will check-in, maybe go over to Downtown Disney or use the pool if it's warm enough and probably have dinner at Boma's. We won't be going to any parks because there isn't enough time.

Do you think it's a good plan? Pop Century does look cute in the pictures. My DH and I are in our early 50's - any recommendations on a building we should request - I'm leaning towards the 50's or 60's. Should we go with preferred location?

Thanks for your thoughts

:)

I think you will like the Pop. Especially in Feb when it shouldn't be real crowded. Warning about the preferred rooms - they overlook the pool - so could get noisy. I have seen posts on here that the 50's were nice - one side of building overlooks the lake. I have only stayed in the 70's - I like it - we were close to everything there.
