Looking at the resort map for POP, the 50's bldg looks like it has its own bowling pin pool plus it's lakeside so looks good to me! my question is - can you see the fireworks of mgm &/or epcot from the 50s or is it just from the 60s or 70s? thanks. i'm thinking of building C specifically if i get my choice.

I stayed in the 50's section in August. You were able to see epcots fireworks, but it seemed very far away, yo could only see the fireworks that went up the highest. :cat:

depends what building you are in. - I think the parking lot views - get a view of the fireworks.

Yes, you can see the fireworks and Spaceship Earth from the 50s building--let them know at the front desk that you would like a room facing Epcot. I think the top floor has the best view.

PLEASE stay in the 50's section! We had a ground floor room facing Hourglass Lake and it was AWESOME! We never were at the room for the fireworks, but I've heard of people seeing them from the top floor! The 50's (and other sections) rooms that face Hourglass Lake are like a "water view" at a moderate, with a nice open view! Have a great time!

I stayed in the 50's on the back side of the bowling pin pool. So if you are facing the pool you won't see spaceship earth or fireworks.

I had a parking lot view with the lake to my left outside my door. I was on the 2nd floor and only saw the hand and EPCOT and the higher fireworks.

I trotted up to the 4th floor one night and it has a better view up there.
