Poor SSR! Ironic - and unintentional - slam.

OK.

So we're about a month away, and I've got Park Hopper Radio on live365 'cause I'm starting to get that feeling - c'mon, you know what I mean! Anyway, what's that I hear? "Do you believe in magic? If you really do...." It's the DVC jingle! Cool!

So I listen closely; there's some of the standard "own a part of the magic" stuff. Then I hear, "The newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club family of Resorts..." - I'm getting geeked to hear about my home resort - "... The Beach Club Villas!"

I know that PHR uses older recordings, and I'm pretty sure that there's no plot to slander SSR. Still.... ; I haven't heard what the Illuminati's up to these days - guess I'll need to put on my tinfoil hat today....

That is funny. We DVCer's are sometimes like sports fans pulling for our home team. I take it personally when BCV is slammed on this site for some reason. I want to stand up and wave my seafoam green banner and shout, "BCV, BCV!" (Of course I'm a long suffering Saints fan so maybe there's a masochistic streak deep down inside of me. But wait till next year!)

I'm sure the other inferior (just kidding!) DVC properties are just as nice and I would enjoy them equally, but I have a sentimental attachment to my "home". Have a great trip to SSR, and eat a churro for me in the parks. I took your advice last trip and I'm now a big churro fan!

What's up with the WEDway People Mover? A long time ago (in a land far, far away---ie. Disneyland) it was known as the Goodyear People Mover, with a sponsership of course. Did WDW ever know it by this name? Or was it always a left coast thing? Just wondering.....

Ah, the old bait and switch...no wonder BCVs are still so popular and there are heavy discounts on SSR (thinking about the thread I just read on the other DVC board). LOL!

I guess you can shoot your self in the foot with BCVs while we beat the dead horse at SSR (pun intended).
