Being a new member from Scotland I look at all the sites from round the world about DVC. The worst site has to be disneys own. Does anybody from disney monitor the site. We are still waiting for the Message board months after it was promised. The picture board for the resorts is very poor and has only 4 pics of The VWL. I could go on and on but the bottom line is for a brilliant company like Disney, is it posible to lobby them to change,

I have to agree with you that I expect more from Disney in terms of the web site. Their own web site is quite full of fun things and many links. Why can't they get the DVC up and running? I agree that we might need to voice our opinion strongly. Anybody else?

What bugs me about the 'members only' section is that it inevitably leads to a sales pitch page - listing the benefits of DVC and why it's such a great deal. But if I'm in the 'members only' section then I've obviously already bought in. ;) I agree, Disney can do better.

I would have to agree. What would be really nice if the site was truly a 'members' site in that it allowed me to see my points balance on line, bank and borrow points, allowed me to check availabilty (like a lot of other hotel sites do) of properties for particular dates, and, hey..here's a thought....even allow me to book reservations on line!!! What a concept!!! Why is it every other hotel, airline, and car rental site can do that but DVC can't? They have the information already available. Just port it to the web site. The security issues can certainly be mitigated. The current web site is about the least secure web site there is. Seems it would save a lot of money on staffing at MS. There is so much potential there.

To me there isn't anything available on the members only site that is really that private and not of benefit to the general public.

I agree. A members only site should have information that is pertinent to my membership.
