Poolside gardens view

Hi All! I realize this is a subjective question -- and the category "Poolside gardens" could apply to many rooms... but does anyone have any experience with this category? We are taking our first trip to Aulani in May, and have booked this rate bc. I've heard bad things about the standard view (views of taxi stands & convention centers), but the oceanview was a little out of our budget. Does anyone have any general idea what to expect?

We had that type of room in November. It was well worth it. From our room we also had a partial ocean view. The pool area closes early enough that you can enjoy your balcony in the evening and not worry about much noise. I will try to post some pictures later.
