pools??

I have never been on a cruise before, so this may be a dumb question.....Can you swim in the pools as soon as you board the ship, or do you have to wait until it is out at sea?? Is the water ocean water or regular pool water??? Thanks!

The water is desalinated, and you can swim as soon as you board. As a matter of fact, that's the best time...much less crowded!

they use regular water made from ocean water on the ship
for drinking and the pools..

we felt the water was fine for drnking and great for swimming ...

Thank you for the quick replies! We will be sailing on the Wonder in a few weeks, Oct. 17-21 after spending 3 days in Disney. We are very excited!!
