Quick questions. My kids love to swim at the pools when we go.
Want to stay at beach club cause I hear the coolest pool.
But is it normally still good enuff weather to swim in early October?
I assume pools are heated and I know u can never guess the weather but just generally.
Thanks

Pools are comfortable to swim in even in December and February. It is just the air that may be a bit cool when you get out.

We stayed last year from Sept 27 through Oct 4. It was very hot and humid in Florida. The pool at WL was a welcome relief for us.

Early October tends to still be quite hot and sticky, so you should have no problem swimming. We were there late October last year and the air temps were in the mid 80s and the pools felt great.

Where are you from? For people from New England/Canada/Upper MidWest, October is usually no issue. For people from the south (including Florida!) October may be too cold.

Pools are all heated to about 82 degrees all year round.

We find the first half of October perfect swimming weather. Last year we went in September and actually thought October was hotter. Either way, DD crammed in plenty pool time while I lay in the sun whether we were there September or October so I'd say you're fine. Later in the month is where you will most likely find folk divided on the opinion as to whether it's hot enough for swimming, but we've never had a problem spending pool time in October - and I will only get into the water if it's really HOT!!!

Agreed!

We hale from CT so we find it warm enough to swim all year in Disney! Heck- I went in the pool in January! The air can be cold but the water is always warm.

Another family of January swimmers here! :thumbsup2 Like mentioned above, if you'll be coming from a cooler climate, you shouldn't have any problems in October.

If as PP have said you are from the south it probably will be too cold to swim but if you're from anywhere else you should be ok.

We have stayed at the Swan, AKL, and AKV in October and had plenty of pool time. Oct is hot and humid, and expect some rain as well.

Yeah, we were there last Oct and it was like 95 degrees and super humid every day- Stormalong Bay felt great!

We have had no problems swimming in Oct and Nov. 2 years ago in mid November my DH and I went to TL.
