Pool Weather in April?

Have never been to WDW and was wondering if the typical temperature in early April (2-8) is warm enough during the day for children to use the pool and stand under those fountains? Trying to determine the number of bathing suits to pack.

I just vame back from Florida a week ago and my husband and I went swimming since all the pools are heated they fact that it was in the 8os the whole week also was good! But I've also been in April, so go ahead pack those bathingsuits, you won't regret it especially if kids are involved!!

IT's hit or miss with florida weather. We went the first weekend of April last year and it was too cold to swim. Luckily the pools are heated, so that definately helps. But you never know, it could be in the 80's. So definately bring them and see how the weather fares.

We go the 3rd week of April. It has always been in the 80's. Needed to swim after walking the parks for hours. Bring the suits and splash away.

Some of the books we have read suggest bringing suits so the kids can splash in the fountains. Are there many fountains and do they really let kids splash (full body) in these fountains, or just dangle their feet in them?

Ummm, I splashed too!!! They are walk through, they squirt and surprise you. We didn't have the kids in suits as we were DD and did not know about them at the time. It was hot and they dried off as they did not get soaked just dampened. I can't recall where all are but I re: DD and Epcot. The parks have misters on for really hot days too. Cool but don't soak ya.
