Pool Voucher?

It's been a couple years since I last stayed at a WDW hotel, so I'm not sure when they implemented this. I got my Mickey Mail yesterday and one of the vouchers was for the pool at our hotel (Pop). Do we need to carry this voucher with us every time we go to the pool or only if we use the pool before check-in/after check-out? It doesn't really have any information on it regarding its use.

I have never heard of a "Pool Voucher" at a WDW resort.

Since The Big Blue is going to be "gated" at AoA.,maybe the POP pools are going to be "voucher entry only".This is really "strange".

This is the front.

The back is blank except for the following: "Check-in time for your resort is 3:00pm. If you should arrive before check-in time, you may pre-register at the front desk to receive your package features."

Is that one of the first pages? The one I got looks very similar but it doesn't say pool, it says standard which I would assume is the room I booked.

Never heard of pool vouchers at any WDW resort. If it's a restricted pool like SAB, we've just had to show our KTTW cards. Something new?

That could be. We did book a Standard Pool View room. I still don't recall ever receiving a voucher for a room, though.

I don't think this is a voucher for the pool, I think you are going to get a pool-room view when you arrive.

Its just your room voucher, the pool part refers to your room category.

Mine looks exactly like that except it says:
Caribbean Beach
Standard

Flip it over and it says the check in time and how if you check in early, you can pre register at the front desk for your package items. Meaning you can get your tickets and any dining credits if you arrive before 3:00 and your room is not ready.

No...I booked through AAA for my March trip and got a very similar (maybe the same) book of vouchers.

I stayed at the Contemporary and my room voucher says:

CONTEMPORARY-TOWER-
BAY LAKE

I was on the Bay Lake side of the tower.

I think your voucher says pool because you have a pool view room.

Thanks! I was wondering what was up with that. I'm sure you can see how I could make that mistake since it doesn't say "room" or "view" after "pool."

No, its for any package regardless of whether you booked with a TA or Disney.

Its a booklet that has several vouchers that include your room, your dining credits (if you got a dining plan), golf, fishing and spa discounts, Planet Hollywood, your park tickets and Magical Express.
